Feedback: Nice Web-page of your Elise. Nice colour too. I myself do own an Elise (deep purple) since october 97) and I do love the capacities of the Elise. I did already 20.000km without much problems, besides that once the nearside window dropped in the door. One thing I don't understand in your explanation of erecting the hood. Why are you opening the bootlid? I never open the bootlid while erecting or taking down the hood, as to me there is no necessity to do so. I stow the hood and and parts behind the seats. I think that your fuel consumption is quite high. I manage at least 14 km out of a liter which is almost 40 mpg My be it is because I have the sports exhaust and lately the ICON has been installed raising the power to appr. 135 hp.
